The Hunt Family ("Hunt Group") through Petro-Hunt, L.L.C. and Petro-Hunt International, L.L.C., ("Petro-Hunt Group") is one of the largest privately held independent energy group of companies in the world. Companies and individuals participating in the Petro-Hunt Group trace their origins back to the 1920’s when the legendary H. L. Hunt entered the oil business. Petro-Hunt Group participants have included many different corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individual entities. Petro-Hunt Group principal business interests in the energy industry include oil and gas exploration, development and production, gas processing, pipeline transportation and refining.
